Disciples II Dark Prophecy



Disciples 2 is a wonderful game that actually is a combination of an RPG and a strategy game.
It has an amazing story line, it allows for a variety of strategies, and it has a great multi player capacity.
It also has a tutorial, but it isn't easy to find. You have to find it by going to Single Player then to New Quest.

They took their time on this.
While the idea of showing a series of events from several different points isn't exactly new, it is quite rare to find.
They pulled it off very well in this game. It's about four major races, the Human Empire, the Undead, the Dwarves, and the Legions of the Damned.
It's been ten years since the First Great Wars (Disciples 1).
Since then the Emperor Demosthene of the humans has let his realm fall into corruption and decadence after the loss of his wife and the disappearance of his kingdom's only heir.
The Undead had fallen lifeless to the ground, completely disbanded after their goddess Mortis had exacted revenge on the Dwarven god Wotan by beheading the Dwarven high king.
Why they've returned, nobody knows. The dwarves were slaughtered in the First Great Wars, and since then are just trying to piece themselves back together.
The Legions of the Damned were in complete disarray after their god and leader Bethrezen was sealed in a mountain, but recently they have been collected their forces and reorganizing for some dark purpose.

There's a number of plot twists, and altogether the story is very entertaining.
I would caution against playing the sagas out of order, as it will ruin a few surprises.
The game doesn't exactly specify in painfully clear terms what order you should play them in, unlike Starcraft.
The correct order is Empire, Undead, Dwarves, and then Legions. The plot is very interesting and one of the finer points of the game.

if you receive errors while extracting or password is not recognized you might be using an old version of WinRar or WinZip.
You will need WinRar pre-hacked with modified md5 harsh and Winzip VERSION 10 OR ABOVE, registered or patched, not in shareware mode
this is done because lately Rapidshare is erasing files and ban their md5 harsh so they can't be re-uploaded, it's not pleasant to download the new winrar and winzip but it's the only way to protect the files.
